("New Leaders", "we", "us", "our") has prepared this Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") to describe how we may collect, use, and disclose any information you, the user of the Web site ("you", "your"), provide about yourself and your school through the New Leaders Effective Practice Incentive Community ("EPIC") Web site (the "EPIC Web Site").
Please review carefully the following Privacy Policy before using the EPIC Web Site for any purpose. Your use of the EPIC Web Site represents your consent to and acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree or are not comfortable with any policy described in this Privacy Policy, you should discontinue your use of the EPIC Web Site.
Information We Collect
Generally, you may browse the public area of the EPIC Web Site without providing your personally identifiable information. However, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information required to create a member account for access to the nonpublic area of the EPIC Web Site. Such information may include your first and last name, email address, name of the school at which you are working, and your position at the school. We may also ask you to create a password that you will use each time you log-in to the nonpublic area of the EPIC Web Site. In order to complete the registration process, you will need to confirm that you agree to the EPIC Web Site Terms of Use and Privacy Policy by checking the applicable box in the registration form.
How We May Use the Information You Provide
Information about you and your school will be stored in your member account. We may use the information you provide through the EPIC Web Site to update your information in our database. We may also use such information to contact you with news, updates or other information about or in connection with our programs and other services we provide. If you do not wish to receive emails of this type do not check the box "Send me periodic emails about EPIC news and site updates" during the registration process.
Opt-out Options
By registering with the EPIC Web Site, you consent to receiving periodic emails from us about EPIC news and site updates. You may opt-out of receiving these communications in the future by sending us an email to epicinfo@newleaders.org or, if applicable, by following the instructions on our e-mail newsletters or notices. If you elect to notify us by email, please include your full name and email address and indicate "unsubscribe from email updates" in the subject line. It may take a few days or longer to process your request during which time you may still receive such communications from us. You may also still receive administrative emails from us, and we may also contact you to request additional information and feedback.

Use of Cookies and Other Internet Technologies
A cookie is a text file that is stored by a Web site on a user's computer to track use of the Web site and customize the site experience based on users' tendencies. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if assets related to New Leaders that include the information we have collected about you are acquired by another legal entity, that legal entity will assume the rights and obligations regarding any information provided to us by you as described in this Privacy Policy.
Security
Your member account is protected by a password you create. You are responsible to secure your password at all times and if the security of your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password and notify us. We have implemented features designed to protect the security of member accounts stored in our database. However, we cannot guaranty the security of such member accounts. Hacking, software or hardware failure and other unauthorized access to our premises or systems may compromise the security of our member accounts.
Links to Other Web sites
The EPIC Web Site may include links to other Web sites. We are not responsible for the content of and privacy policies on other Web sites. When logging in to another Web site, you should read the privacy policy and terms of use of such Web site. This Privacy Policy governs only information that is collected in connection with the EPIC Web Site. We encourage you to read the privacy policy and terms of use of each and every Web site that you visit.
Updates and Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may change, update or modify this Privacy Policy, at any time, without notice, by posting such change, update or modification on the EPIC Web Site. We may apply changes to information previously collected, to the extent permitted by law. Please note that, at all times, you are responsible for updating your personal information and for providing us with your current e-mail address.
